Motorized TV cabinets integrate a television with a motorized lift or pivot mechanism, allowing the screen to rise from a cabinet, lower into a furniture piece, swivel from a concealed position, or emerge from behind a panel — at the touch of a button. When the television is not in use, it is not visible. The room returns to its designed state.
Motorized installations are chosen by clients who want the function of a large television without its visual presence dominating the room when it is off. They are common in formal living rooms, master bedrooms, and library spaces where the architecture should lead rather than the technology.
What makes a motorized

A motorized TV installation is only as good as the cabinet built to house it. The mechanism must be installed on a structurally sound platform that holds its position over time. The cabinet must be built with tolerances that allow the lift to operate smoothly and silently. The wiring must be routed to allow for maintenance access. These requirements must be designed in at the start.
The cabinetry surrounding the mechanism carries equal weight in the final result. When the television is in the lowered or concealed position, what the room sees is the cabinet face. That face must be beautiful — finished, detailed, and proportioned correctly — because it is what the room displays most of the time.
